Original Question:
I'm running Tru64 5.1 on a Alpha 1000 (test box). I configured the network settings
through sysman. I have tu2 configured. Everytime I reboot or do a rcinet restart, I
loose the settings and I have to go back to sysman to reconfigure. What am I doing
that is causing this? Thanks in advance.

Everyone suggested to look into the rc.config file and make sure permissions were
set, exporting correctly, etc. However, it was. I took a shot in the dark and
configured another nic card and it's working now. Weird, it must be something
ridculous that I'm not aware of.
