This is a question regarding an older rev of T64 (ver 3.2c), but might
apply to newer versions as well...(upgrading here isn't an option, right
now it's not a primary system anymore...just didn't have the heart to
take it out production...:( )
We are using our old alpha system to be a print server to a coupld
of rapid prints using the socket software (as the rapid prints don't
print as smoothly using lpr, print stops and starts).
Anyway, it seems that lpd doesn't print the jobs in received order, but
rather by job size (once there is a backlog of jobs).
is there anyway to tell it to print the jobs FIFO instead?
I didn't find anything in the lpr/lpd man's that was helpful.
