Thank to Dr Thomas Blinn, Lucio Chiappetti, Axel G. Puskeppel,Aldridge Robert E, Robert M. Lang and visageh.

The concensus was that I don't have to be worry about.

Somebody told me to look fo freeware software that do the job well.
(Make a search with linux + UPS). I will look for that.

Robert M. ran this software some number of years ago and it worked fine. There doesn't seem to be any version specifoc stuff going on with eh software soit should work okay with 5.1A. I wouldn't be concerned about the lack ofreference to Tru64 UNIX - 5.1 is 5.1, 5.1A is basically 5.1 with fixes.

Robert E. give me an alternative , Powerware and LanSafe.

There is no functional change between V5.1 and the later "letter"
releases that should impact the way APC's software interacts with
the system. In fact, it's probably the same software for ALL of
the versions listed there -- because there is no special stuff
in Tru64 UNIX (and never has been) to support any vendor's UPS
or to provide graceful shutdown of the system on a power failure,
much less graceful shutdown of a cluster.

If you know what you are doing, you can probably put wrappers
around the APC software to handle a power failure and bring a
whole cluster down. The really important thing is to make sure
all of the local file systems have been unmounted before you
lose the power to the storage subsystems (since you probably
have disks outside the system enclosures). Shutting down the
cluster members is also a really good thing, but you want to
be sure you shut down ALL of the members, and I doubt that the
APC UPS software (or any other vendor's software) has any kind
of idea of what a TruCluster system is or how to shut down the
whole cluster (not just whichever member's UPS is running out
of power first).
