SUMMARY: I only had one response, thanks Jay. Which was to use Solarwinds
MIB Browser to view the mib tree and then work my way through the results
picking the interesting ones.

I am putting together a list of the most required/popular OIDs for
Tru64v5.1a (With the updated Compaq Agents v3)
I'm relatively new to SNMP and am wanting to compile a list of the best OIDs
and traps for us to monitor.
What's the best way to go about this. I'm at present starting to look at the
RFCs mentioned in the relevant snmp man pages, but before I start this is
there an easier, less time consuming way to retrieve the most popular OID.
I have done a snmpwalk and this returns loads and does not particularly
help.
Any advice much appreciated.
