Strange IP address problem

Hi... I sent this about 2 hours earlier, and for some
reason it's not been posted, so I'm guessing it must
have dropped somewhere in cyberspace.
Anyways.... I am having problems changing the IP
address of a server. I use sysman, and deconfigure the
adapter, and then re-configure it, and I have the new
address. No problem there. However, the moment I
reboot the system, it comes up with the old adress as
well as the new one. Any assistance will be
appreciated.
