KZPBA configuration

I am trying to install a KZPBA Host Bus Adapter in an Alpha DS20 with
the purpose of connecting to an RA7000 raid array. I do not have a lot
of experience with installing new hardware in the Alphas and I am not
sure how to go about the configuration.

The system:
Alpha DS20 with
Video card
KZPAC-CA 3 channel internal raid controller
one network/SCSI card (not sure the model)
one 10/100 network card

The problem:
If I install the KZPBA card then try to start the system it gets part
way into the boot and apparently has a scsi conflict and goes into a
loop of SCSI bus resets until I power down the system and remove the new
adapter. I do have another Alpha DS20 with the same combination of
cards, so I know it can work. It is probably just a matter of
configuration.

I assume from this that I have to configure the new adapter so that it
does not conflict with the internal raid controller. The problem is
that I do not know how, nor can I find much information on the subject.
I am assuming that I might have to clear the boot flags so the system
does not boot automatically, then do a sh config. After that I am not
sure how to set the scsi address of the new adapter so that it does not
conflict (if that is the problem). I am not familiar with hose #'s etc.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or suggest somewhere I might
at least find some information on configuration of this controller?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
