Updating from 4.0d to 4.0G

Hi,

I 'am trying to update my unix serveurs ( alpha1200,alpha1000 and alpha4000)
from tru64 4.0d to 4.0G
some of my servers havent a RA3000 storage work directly attached.
I woul appreciate if somme one can give me
1) a check list to do before any update
2) a step by step sumary note to respect for this kind of updating.
