I have a new tape library and was wondering if anyone could give me some
direction on how to set it up to work with vdump?? Should I put these
entries in crontab - or is there some other way to do it?? I know that
UNIX isn't as nice as VMS as to knowing a tape is full and to move to the
next one - is there a good "trick" I could use in UNIX to get it to switch
to the next tape if the current one is full?? Any help would be
appreciated. I currently don't have anything setup so I would like to do
it correctly the first time!! I am running TRU64 UNIX on an ES45 and
really would not want to buy any third party software.
