I wish to run an "rexec" command from a Win2k client to a
Tru64 v5.1 host on the same network. On doing so from the client's "cmd"
interface and entering the password, it just hangs. I also read somewhere
that the rexec needs a "rexecd" daemon to be running on the Unix host. I
tried running "/usr/sbin/rexecd" on the host as root user, but it responds
with:
(null): getpeername: Socket operation on
non-socket
What is the problem and how do I resolve this?
