SUMMARY: Online Part Numbers

Hi,

Thanks for all the responses - too many to mention in less than an hour !
Nobody has actually pointed me to a definitive Compaq online catalog yet,
however I've got the information I need.
The most obvious answer was to search with Google...

BA6104D is a 4 bay drive cage which goes in the front of an ES40 - Our
ES40 is fairly old so I'm guessing this actually holds the older 1.6"
universal disks.
169954-001 is an 8 way KVM switch - as to why we're paying for
maintenance on this when we've only got a 4 way switch is a different
question altogether - and probably not one for the list !!

Cheers,

Rob

Subject: Online Part Numbers

Hi Managers,

Does anyone know the whereabouts of a full online part number catalog for

all Compaq products and options ?

The reason being, I'm trawling through our Compaq maintenance agreement
and a number of lines have part numbers with no descriptions, and I can
find no reference to the numbers anywhere on HP's website.

Specifically if anyone can tell me exactly what the following are I'd be
very grateful:

BA6104D - something to do with an ES40
169954-001 - maybe something to do with a Proliant server..?

Regards,

Rob Leadbeater
