problem with latest 4.0f jumbopatch

I have a problem with the Sep-11 jumbo patchkit (SSRT2275, SSRT2229) for
Tru64 4.0F. Patch C 00815.01 (Fix for SSRT2275, libtermcap, libtermlib)
requieres patch C 00802.02 (Fix for SSRT2260, lpq, lpr, lprm), but I can't
install that patch since we don't use the Tru64 printing system, we use cups.
In fact, none of the printing packages are installed and that never caused
a problem with patch dependencies.

Because patch C 00802.02 doesn't install, other patches which requiere
this patch don't install either, for instance the security patches
for telnetd, csh, libcurses and dxterm. I am worried that this will cause
problems later on, not only for security reasons, but also with other
patch dependencies.

Is that dependency on the printing patch real or just some error made when
the patch kit was created ? Can I force patch 00802.02 to install ?

I could see around this problem by moving cups to another location
(right now it's in the same places the system print binaries would be),
install the Tru64 print packages and patches and then disable lpd,
but I would like to avoid this if possible.

Thanks
