Hello,

I have send this email a month ago... Thank you to Benoît Audet, Regis Carlier,
Cory.D.Erickson, S. Forget

the first problem:

Cory.D.Erickson:

>Sounds like an authentication problem (the way it kicks you out right after
>the username). It sounds a LOT like a corrupt or incorrect /etc/shells (are
>you sure you have the right path to tcsh?), or problem with the access
>control file /etc/ftpusers.

In /etc/shells: the path was /usr/bin/tcsh

on the system:

/bin ---> /usr/bin

in passwd file the path of the shell is /bin/tcsh

I change in /etc/shells:

/usr/bin/tcsh become /bin/tcsh

and all is ok now.

It seams the relative path is not recognize in ftpd authentification.

the second question:

I change my sendmail server to a new station in v5.1A, and all is fine now..

Bests Regards

Josiane
