Alpha2100 will not boot from CD - resol ution

After various emails, someone suggested running ECU for Unix.
Following the instructions from ECU menu, went through the various stages
and then exited and saved the configuration. This wrote the necessary
information to NVRAM, and I was then able to carry on as normal with the
installation.
