Processor Machine Check

Hi there,

I checked couple of spare Alpha500
wks today morning. When the first machine
was turned on, the following lines appeared
on the terminal:
...
R2 R3 R4 R29 saved starting at 07F5A478

R2 = 00000000
R3 = 00000000
R4 = 00000000
R29 = 00000000

*** Console Stopped because of Machine Check ***
*** Press HALT Button to return to console !! ***
....
while at another attempt:
        ...
        CIA ECC_SYN = 00000000000000f3
        CIA MEM ERR0 = ffffffffffe00000
        CIA MEM ERR1 = 0000000010100000
        CIA PCI ERR0 = 0000000002010006
        CIA PCI ERR1 = 0000000040008840
        EISA bridge NMI status & control = 0000000000000000
panic (cpu 0): Processor Machine Check

DUMP: No primary swap, no explicit dumpdev.
          Nowhere to put header, giving up.
*** keyboard not plugged in ...

halted CPU 0

halt code = 5
HALT instruction executed
PC = fffffc000040ef70
boot failure
...

do you have any idea about these strange
behavior? I think the problem is at deep
HW level - what we can expect with
the rest of the working Alpha500s in the
future?
