Hi Guru's!
 
Another question, regarding performance:
Having a database in a simple text-file (size less than 2 GB). Lots of reads, less (but still a lot) of small writes. Any ideas (not hardware, nut tuning-tips) to improve performance on this system? (DS10, 512 MB, (6 disks on RA230+, 9 GB SCSI-3 10K, on mirror, and one RAID 0+1).
 
Due to the application it is NOT possible to use i.e. Oracle instead of a textfile.
