We are using the NQS batch system (Generic-NQS-3.50.9). Worked without any
problem on 4.0F and 5.1
After upgrading to 5.1A I get errors like:
Aug 19 10:07:00 max NQS daemon[228344]: Request exited normally.
Aug 19 10:07:00 max NQS daemon[228344]: Corrupted request control and/or
data files.
Aug 19 10:07:00 max NQS daemon[228344]: Request not executed.
Aug 19 10:07:00 max NQS daemon[228344]: Request files placed in NQS
failed directory.
and
Aug 19 11:24:07 max NQS daemon[228647]: getpchar: timeout occurred
Aug 19 11:24:07 max NQS daemon[228647]: interread(): timeout occurred
Aug 19 11:24:07 max NQS daemon[228647]: nqs_main(): timeout occurred
Aug 19 11:24:07 max NQS daemon[228647]: nqs_valarm(): Entered
I have the idea that is has something to do with the new threads interface,
but I'm not sure.
I compiled NQS with gcc 2.95.3 (same results with gcc 3.2)
Any help or suggestion is appreciated!
