Hi all,
I need to install several patches on several machines, different
hardware but all at identical OS/patch levels. I tried placing this in a
script and running it:
./dupatch << EOF #comments added in email
./*A
1
3
y
y
y
SysAdmin #name
.
1 #all subsets
y
3 #Do nothing at this time
q quit
EOF
but it hangs on the Reboot Menu and I have to kill the log daemons. The
patch installs fine, so this this method works, but I'd imagine someone
with a lot more machines than I has come up with something that actually
works. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to why this freezes at
the Reboot Menu.
Tru64 v5.1a pk2 on XP1000s and others
