Hi all

Only got one reply so far from Ashraf Baker.
The serial ports device files are still the same, /dev/tty00 etc.

BUT my files are not there. The only thing that I can assume at this stage is
that the KFE72 adapter serial port module is not installed. On the outside of
the KFE72, there are COM1 and COM2 9Pin connecters.

Perhaps someone can still help, before shutting down next week to actually
inspect the KFE72 adapter for UART.

On a GS60E that has 2 serial ports, Tru64 5.1 patch 3. I can find the device
files for the serial ports. Did the names change, or some hardware issue to
create them.
