restoring

I just booted off the cdrom to do a restore. In the
server I have 2 drives; dsk0, is empty, and dsk1 has
the dumpfiles: /dev/disk/dsk2a. I was able to view the
devices with hwmgr. I mounted the /dev/disk/dsk2a to
the /etc/fdmns/"new directory" however I don't see the
files, all I see is "dsk2@". What am I doing wrong?
