OK I admit defeat!
We have an alpha 4100 running tru64 4.0d.
All is well - except ping doesn't work.
We can telnet a host on this or any other site - but can''t ping any of them.
The box is currently holding our company record for the highest number of days up - so a reboot is not OK.
... Unless we have no choice that is!
It's obviously something to do with icmp - but where do I look, and what do I change to fix it?
