Moving disks between HSG's

Hello managers

We are planning to move a bunch of mirrorsets from one HSG80 to another
set of HSG80's connected to Tru64 unix machines.

Has anybody tried doing this ?
Is it as simple as creating transportable disks and moving them or it
involves a lot more. ?

Any comments/directions are welcome
