SUMMARY: TZ87 tape drive problem.... help!

Thanks to every one who replied.

The concensus seems to be that this drive is broke and its time to call
in HP service.
Its most likely a broken leader.

My orginal question was:

We have a TZ87 tape drive connected to an AS2100 running tru64 v4.0F
which has stopped functioning. ALL indicators LED's on the TZ87 front
panel are lit up and stay on solid (no blinking).

I've tried powering the TZ87 off and on but the same behaviour persists.
Also tried pressing and holding the "Unload Tape" button but no luck.

Has any one out there experienced this behaviour on a TZ87 and if so,
what might I do to try and fix this ????
