Hello guys,
I am running a 2 node cluster with 4.0f and want to
upgrade to 5.1A on DS20E.We have 2 BA356 shelf each
with 6 disks.Each self is a mirror copy of other.
To minimize the downtime, i removed one node from
cluster, break the mirror,removed disks(only 1 shelf)
from lsm labeled them, leaving one node up and running
oracle(the other shelf).On the other node i installed
tru64 disk and ran clu_create command it ran
successfully,but when i try to boot from this new
node, at boot prompt gives a message, reservation
conflict on dka3a and stop.
I cannot bring the other node down,Also if i boot from
tru64 disk and do disklabel -r it gives me i/o
error....on all 6 disks.
any ideas... i guess some lock is there on the
disk,tried scu -f rz3 release device, but again no
use..
