openGL problem in 5.1

i have xp1000 dec alpha system which is running with O.S tru64unix ver.
5.1 ..PowerStorm 3D/DT grphics card is installed in the system. & i loaded
OpenGL ver 4.9 which came with software product library. whenever i am
running OpenGL program in this system, system console is getting hang..but
we can do login from remote..if we want to login to console, we have to
stop "xlogin" & start..

please reply the solution..
