As long as we are discussing Enhanced security, does someone have a script
that will change a system from Base to Enhanced security, or some other
automatic, no-human-intervention-needed way to do it?
A more general question is, does anyone have scripts that can be used to
help automate the customization of a new system. For example, I have a
simple shell script called setup_nis_client which does the obvious thing and
another, setup_dns. Both of these script encode the site specific
information I need to set up a system and it is easier then trying to
remember the site specific details and the Tru64 way of doing the particular
task.
It might be possible to use a fancy RIS setup, but I haven't run across any
examples that caught my interest. Does anyone have a comprehensive RIS setup
they can share?
