hi all,
general info gathering questions.
I am installing 5.1a on an es-40 with 2 de-200 nics.
after the install and several reboot, I still have no networking.
ifconfig looks ok, default routes look ok. I have used both the
network setup wizard and hand editing....
I ahve installed 5.1a on a ds-20 and it worked like a camp. differnt nic....
when I boot this system under 4.0f, all is well, but the same hardware under
5.1a
I do not get networking. both cards come up as 100 full. the switch they
are hooked to
is a big Cisco ( 2500?). I suspect speed/duplex problems, but am wondering
if
anyone has seen this before on this OS/hardware combination.
