I received responses from E. Richard Glazier,Alan, Derk Tegeler. Most of them
suggested to remove related file (.inv,.scp,.lck) from /usr/.smdb.
directory. Compaq support also suggested me the same.I deleted the files but
still I am not clear why I was not able to delete using setld??
I am enclosing Derk Tegeler reply which has all the options available

1) rsh: Trucluster relies on rsh between the 2 nodes. Try rsh node1 from
node2 and vice-versa. if it doesn't work, fix it first.
2) There is a reason for the permission denied errror message. Try to add a
set -x in /usr/.smdb./WEBESBASE310.scp script and launch setld -l again
(without the -f) and check what is going wrong. It's probably down to
something small.
3) manually remove WEBES as follows
the files /usr/.smdb./WEBES*.inv contain lists of files being
installed by WEBES. remove them all
         remove /usr/.smdb./WEBES*
make sure that you have not installed ca (compaq analyse), RCM or
crash dump analyser with WEBES. If you have, I would attempt to remove them
first, with setld -d

MY ORIGINAL POST:

Hi Admins,
I am trying to delete/uninstall WEBES software using setld and
getting following error message

On member 2

# setld -f -d WEBESBASE310
Deleting "Compaq Web-Based Enterprise Service Suite V3.1" (WEBESBASE310).
Permission denied.
setld: WEBESBASE310 scp failed on member1.

This is a two node Cluster with Tr464 5.1 (PK4).The same error message is
produced on the other node(member1).
I will appreciate if anyone can point me what am I doing wrong?
TIA and I'll summarize.
Ashish
