TruCluster failover.

Hello all,

I am running TruCluster 5.1 and am trying to get it setup so that we have
some network failover. We currently have the cluster along with two
switches -- both machines are configured with connections to each switch.

For example:

cluster-1a tu0: 192.168.1.33 (switch1)
                tu1: (switch2)

cluster-1b tu0: 192.168.1.34 (switch2)
                tu1: (switch1)

We want to ensure HA if either switch goes down by both IP's being
available. My thought was that with the niff commands we can set it up so
that if tu0 on either machine goes down, tu1 will then takeover that
interface's IP address -- but this is not turning out to be the case.

Here is a snapshot of the niff configs:

cluster-1a:
Interface: tu0, description: , status: UP, event:
UP, state: GREEN
         t1: 20, dt: 5, t2: 60, time to dead: 30, current_interval: 20,
next time: 20

cluster-1b:
Interface: tu0, description: , status: UP, event:
ALERT, state: GREEN
         t1: 20, dt: 5, t2: 30, time to dead: 0, current_interval: 20,
next time: 20

Anyone who has some insight or has done this type of setup who can provide
some help would be VERY VERY appreciated!

thanks in advance,

Steve
