UNIX Signals on 5.1A in comparison to 4.0D

At the risk of going off topic...

We have just upgraded from T64 4.0D to T64 5.1A. A bespoke system that we
run is now behaving strangely. We have a daemon process that spawns other
processes and then when these complete does some housekeeping. The
housekeeping is initiated by the SIGCHLD signal. Now that we have upgraded
to 5.1A the handler no longer seems to function correctly.

Is anyone aware of any issues with 5.1A in this area?

If there are any budding C/C++ programmers out there I can provide further
info on the function calls that are used by this daemon process.

Thanks for your time.
