Tru64 v4.0G....Test Machine...b4 full deploy
I am having problems loading new cde patch (Released
05/14/2002)
t64v40gb17-c0010303-14314-es-20020515.tar
The tar contains seven patches, and its prerequisite
is PK#3. I have pk#3 loaded.........
Whether i select to install just mandatory subsets of
the cde bundle (00103.03) or ALL, problem is the same.
00103.03 requires 00104.03 (also in same bundle of cde
patches)
Inturn:
104.03 requires 211.00 (Security --SSRT1-19U,
SSRT0689U).
Patch 211.00 (OSF445-138) is a security patch, found
in PK#3
When i run pre-Installation check for loading patch
211.00 from PK#3, it complains::
Requires existence of following
un-installed/un-selected subsets:
Patch 00095.00 ( addresses performance and
scalability issuesin EV6 SMP machines, i have ev-5 )
However, checking thru setld, shows that patch 95** is
installed:
nsipp@/home/moll$ setld -i|grep 95
OSFPATC0009503445 installed Patch:
Security,SSRT1-40U,SSRT1-41U,SSRT1-42U,SSRT1-45U,SSRT1-48U(Security
Related Patches)
NOTE:: I have ran baselining, and it came up
clean....only a few files flagged as unknown, which i
am aware of why....such as for sendmail and syscheck.
So i am currently stuck, and can't install ANY of the
cde security related patches.
Any Pointers?
