First, many thanks for your replies.

I tried all what you were suggesting me but it didn't work.
I would like to add some more information. The user that is trying to
connect via ftp is a real user. The version that I'm running, is 2.6.2 and
it's compiled with the security flags (DSECURITYOFS and lsecurity)

I have a problem logging into a Compaq Tru64 running enhanced security and
using wuftpd.
When a user connects via ftp it asks for password and although password is
correct it refuses connection. This is the same for any user
trying to connect via ftp.
So; either wuftpd does not like enhanced security and cannot see the
passwords for the users or a configuration setting is incorrect.

Does anybody has any suggestion ?
