I have a customer that has requested a remote printer queue on
one of our 5.1 clusters. We created a print queue and alias. We
specified a text file as the output and chose generic_text as the
printer device. The print jobs seem to go to the queue just fine. The
problem is that each job that goes to the queue over writes the previous
data that was sent to the text file. Is there a way to tell the
printer/generic_text device to not over write the file or a way to spool
that data into a file that we can manage? We would like to spool data
to the file for collection then collect and process it via a database
import feed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
