SUMMARY: NCD Boot Hangs

Thanks much to the list for all troubleshooting
tips.....which mostly pointed to switch settings.

Hardcoding NIC settings at the port (100-Half Duplex)
solved the problem. Apparently there was a power surge
in the switch room, and it got reset........
Everything is back to normal now.
