Upgrade from Tru64 5.1 to 5.1A + Trucluster

Hi All

I need some advice for the following upgrade. Tru64 5.1 + Trucluster to 5.1A
in a 2 node config.

We will also change memory channel for fibre 1000 Mbit/s. The reason is that
one of the nodes we want to move to a DR site +-10 Km away. Later also
replicate HSG80's.

Already our Backup Library is +-11 Km away at a DR site with single mode long
wave GBIC's with no problems at all. So I know no problems with length of
Fibre, now actually max supported is 100 Km.

Is there a upgrade path from 5.1 to 5.1a, or should we reinstall from scratch
?

Can I utilize empty ports on 16 Port Fibre switch, for hard beat {ex memory
channel} with zoning on its own dedicated fibre, sharing switch with HSG80's
on separate zone/fibre/ports.

Can I expect same performance for heart beat on TCP. I believe memory
channel in 800 Mbit/s, but what about window sizes, etc.
