They adviced me to reseat everything (which didn't fix it) and to take out
everything unneeded. So I stripped the machine down, leaving only the
motherboard, CPU, RAM and vidcard. I still couldn't get it to the boot
prompt. I then logged a call with Compaq. As a few people said, it's most
probably due to a faulty motherboard. Motherboard and CPU will have to
replaced (yep, together apparently). I will get it fixed as soon as
possible.
