Dynamic Reconfiguration and Oracle 9i on E10000

Does anyone have any experience getting Oracle 9i to respond to RCM
(Reconfiguration Coordination Manager) events? I'm trying to utilize
Oracle's ability to resize the SGA when resources on the E10K are
reconfigured. I've managed to write all the necessary scripts (PL/SQL, etc)
that work from the command line but when I try to automate the process it
appears the SSP is oblivious to the fact that an RCM script needs to run in
one of the domains prior to actually moving a board. The result is the DR
operation fails on the SSP before the RCM script is even invoked. In
addition, I need to understand how the RCM daemon works. By default this
daemon was not running so I added an entry to /etc/inittab which appeared to
solve the issue but after a DR (manual) the daemon is no longer running.

I've search Oracle, Sun, Google, etc. Not much info on DR and Oracle.

Thanks

JP
