Local Timezone

Fellow admins,

I have a business unit that wants to set their servers to be set for
Central Time Zone as opposed to the Pacific Time Zone which is what they
are currently set. Their reasoning is that this will give some sort of
middle-of-the-road timestamp on their documents since these servers will be
accessed by users throughout the US. I'm hesistant to give in to this
request because it's not my normal procedure and the only thing I could
think of is rescheduling and maintaining the backup schedule. Little
background: no NFS mounts and user access is done through Citrix servers
located with the production servers.

Any experiences out there regarding the pros and cons of having your server
set to another timezone?

Regards,

Rene
