Hi all.
I've got some problems with nfs tar and chown.
I am running Solaris 2.6 as nfs and nis+ server. I use nis+ in nis
compatibility mode for some sunos 4.1.3 machines.
On these machines, on the nfs shares, no users can do a chown. They get
the error "Not owner".
Another problem is with tar. When using tar -xof, the files keep the UID
that is stored on the tape. Not the one of the user restoring the files.
When the tar -xof is done on a local filesystem, this problem doesn't
appear.
Anybody can help ?
