Can't display X session, get "client not authorized to connect"

On my Solaris 9 hosts I can't display back an X session. This works
ok on UNIX hosts running older versions of Solaris. I have a file
called /etc/X0.hosts with the names of the hosts I want to display from
but I get this error:

#xclock
Xlib: connection to "hostname:0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server
Error: Can't open display: hostname:0.0

Has the way X is displayed in Solaris 9 changed from previous releases?

Thanks much.
