can't create writer semaphore

We are running solaris2.6. In /var/adm/messages, we usually get the
following messages:

Mar 23 08:31:53 nisc2 nisd[135]: can't create writer semaphore: No such
file or directory

(we have NIS+)

What causes the error? Is there a solution?
