actually patching the system with the latest recommended patches from
Sun solved the problem.
sole of the recommendations are :

* remove everything that is under /tmp
* tune setting using /usr/sbin/fbconfig -propt and #m64config -res SVGA
-depth 24
* creating a new user
* modify /etc/system
