T3 Connection

Hello All,

I'm trying to get a network connection from a V880 to a T3 with no
luck. This is what I've done so far.

a. Made an entry in /etc/ethers
00:20:????? r2d2-t3

b. Made an entry in /etc/hosts

192.168..xx.88 r2d2
192.168.xx.89 r2d2-t3

c. Made sure rarpd was running

d. Connected a crossover cable from the t3 to the v880, since I don't
have a console cable. I've have a green connection light on both ends.

e. reset the t3.

So what am I missing.
