Solaris 8 server 280R slow when doing "ypwhich -m"

Sun Managers,

I have two Sun servers running Solaris 8, patche level 108528-16.

-----"uname -a" output --------
Generic_108528-16 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-280R
---------------------------

Both servers are Sun-Fire-280R with ce0 network interface.
When executing the "ypwhich -m" command, the system stops
for 10-15 seconds for no special reason. Here is the truss output:

---- a portion of the truss output --------------------------
fstat(4, 0xFFBEF5A8) = 0
ioctl(4, I_STR, 0xFFBEF6B0) = 0
fstat(4, 0xFFBEF4A8) = 0
sigprocmask(SIG_SETMASK, 0xFFBEF648, 0xFFBEF638) = 0
ioctl(4, I_STR, 0xFFBEF5B0) = 0
sigprocmask(SIG_SETMASK, 0xFFBEF638, 0x00000000) = 0
getpid() = 14815 [14814]
fstat(4, 0xFFBEF580) = 0
ioctl(4, I_STR, 0xFFBEF6FC) = 0
fstat(4, 0xFFBEF824) = 0
fstat(4, 0xFFBEF618) = 0
putmsg(4, 0xFFBEF7B4, 0xFFBEF8CC, 0) = 0
poll(0x00044544, 1, 15000) (sleeping...)
-------------------------------

Why does the process sleep ? Is it waiting for network ce0 ?
Or, waiting for NFS, waiting for DNS, or waiting for I/O, or what ?

I have 4 other Sun servers running solaris 8 with the same patche level,
but not Sun-Fire-280R, binding to the same YP master server in
the same YP domain, and the execution of "ypwhich -m" takes
no time to finish (less than one second).

Why does the problem happen on 280R servers only ?
Does anyone have any idea ?
Thanks.
