Hello,
I've just seen a weird problem on a user machine, it's a SUN Blade 2000
running Solaris 8 and CDE windowing system.
The user who is seeing this problem uses Framemaker v5.5. When he
changes the Zoom option within this application to 200%, he is dumped
out of CDE i.e. to the login screen. This doesn't happen for any other
applications or for any other zoom size changes. There is a file called
errorlog.old in his ~/.dt file which contains the text
Fri Jan 31 15:43:25 2003
Workspace Manager: I/O error on display:: :0.0
Fri Jan 31 15:43:25 2003
dtsession: Connection to server lost - exiting.
This may or may not be of use...
I've searched the sunmanagers.org archive, sun.com and Adobe's
(Framemaker) site without success. Anyway, it's definitely Solaris / CDE
related as irrespective of what happens within the application, it
shouldn't cause the windowing environment to exit.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
John Kelly.
