Hello, Guys,
Please give me a helping hand in order to solve a tricky problem.
I ordered an SG-XSW8-2GB FC Switch in order to link it to an
existing E3500 and one new T3. The HBA on the E3500 is a X6730A FC-AL
100MB/sec Dual Channel SBus host adapter w/1 GBIC module.
Our technical guys went to the client premises and tried to install
the switch, but it seems that is not working.
The switch comunicates with the T3, bot does not with the E3500.
Do you know any way to solve this problem ? Maybe there is an
workaroud, or a firmware upgrade must be performed ?
I searched the Sun site and the Qlogic docs regarding the
incompatibility issues, but I didn't find any references. Any idea ?
