Greetings all,
I've been asked by our QA group to identify the Sun systems that would
closely match their spec'ed out Wintel boxes. This group is testing our
product which utilizes either Apache and the Sun/Chilisoft ASP engine or
Weblogic as the application front end, the application engine, and an Oracle
database on the back end. The wintel specs are below:
3 Tier Configuration (App, Web, DB)
All Machines Are:
Compaq ProLiant DL380 G2
2 x 1.3 GHz Pentium IV Processors
1.3 GB RAM (PC133 ECC)
My initial thoughts include the 280R, V480, and Netra 20 utilizing the
US3/900 procs. I'm curious if you folks would agree or perhaps have
alternative suggestions. Thanks.
