How to enable memory-test option at EEPROM level for the E4000 server?

Sun E4000 server with 1 GB of memory. Solaris 8.
No sunvts loaded.

Question:

How does one turn on the memory-test option at boot up
time so that my server automatically test *all* of its
1 GB memory. I know it can be long, but I can wait :-)

The server is patched with the latest kernel patch
108528-18. OBP is 3.2 POST 3.9.30 (latest)
The current eeprom paramters are:

diag-switch? true
diag-level max
mfg-mode off
(btw, can you turn mfg-mode to ON for OBP=3.2?)

POST memory test appears to be very minimal
and the command ok>show-post-results showed
no memory test on the 1GB of memory at all.

memconf output:
#memconf
hostname: testsever
