Hello, All.
I recently purchased a D2 disk array from a reseller. During the
pre-sales process I expressed some concern about whether I could mount
the array in a non-Sun cabinet. I was assured that if I bought an X9653B
rack kit, I could mount the array in a non-Sun cabinet, but would not be
supported by Sun. I went ahead with the purchase. Now I find that the
rack kit I bought is in fact only for Sun Cabinets.
Has anyone been able to mount one of these in a standard cabinet?
