Patch 108528-18 install trouble

I'm installing the latest recommended patch cluster on our N4800 filer
which is running Solaris 8. The patch install programme has rattled along
as normal upto patch 108528-18, where it's been sitting for over half
an hour. This patch does update some kernel stuff, but this seems to
be taking too long. I am running the patch cluster in single user mode,
rebooted from normal multi-user.

How long should this take? Our planned outage is running a lot longer
than planned, and I'm getting nervous that something's amiss. I assume
pressing ctrl-c in the middle of a patch that updates the kernel is a
very bad idea.

Any comments? Reassuring or otherwise? :)

Cheers,
Gavin.
