I've just started working with soft partition and need
some help. Running 2.9 on a 250 with 4 9gb disks.
I've used the 1st 2 disks to put the os and mirror it.
The 2nd 2 disks, I would like to use for soft
partitioning. So far, I have brought the 2nd set of
disks under SDS as follows:
metainit d81 -p -e c0t9d0 8gb
metainit d85 -p -e c0t10d0 8gb
Then I created a stripe called d82 and d86 and
attached them to a mirror d80. My question is can I
now create additional soft partitions on top of this
mirror and will those partitions inherit the
underlying mirror properties.
